60 Minute Stroll With Sandhill Cranes

I was on a hike at Heron County Park near Danville, IL on March 22, 2019. Unexpectedly, I found a pair of Sandhill Crane's. I kept my distance, watching and photographing them. At one point, they walked out on the the path I was on at a close distance. I froze in place to see what they would do. They looked me over, decided I wasn't a threat and strolled together down the path. I followed carefully, documenting and enjoying our 60 minute stroll together.
